After each guess, six clue tiles tell you how close you are:
What you know — above the search box, a running summary of what your guesses have established: the make once you've pinned it, the seat count or debut year narrowed to a range, and so on. means known exactly, means narrowed down. It's only ever working out what you could work out yourself from the tiles.
A yellow vehicle tile means every clue matched but the car is still wrong. Several makers field more than one model with the same make, type, power, seats, country and debut year — a row of six greens isn't necessarily a win, and this is how you tell.
A nameplate is one car no matter how many generations it has, so the debut year is the first one ever — the Mustang is 1964, and a revived Bronco is still 1965.
